Measuring blood pressure at least weekly during the postpartum period is an effective way to identify postpartum complications early.
When to Reach out to your healthcare provider:
If your systolic (top number) is higher than 140
if your diastolic (bottom number) is higher than 90
if either number is 15-30 units higher than normal
if your systolic (top number) exceeds 160 or your diastolic (bottom number) exceeds 110, seek medical attention immediately.
